| Duke City Derby, LLC was founded in 2005 as part of the roller derby revival presently taking place across the nation. Duke City Derby is a proud member of the Women's Flat-Track Derby Association, an organization that unifies the leagues nationwide through organizing interstate bouts, establishing rules and guidelines, and promoting the sport of roller derby in general. As with other leagues, Duke City Derby was constructed as a purely Do-It-Yourself, cooperative effort and is maintained by an army of dedicated volunteers. Duke City Derby is committed to providing women in the city of Albuquerque the opportunity to participate and play this unique and wonderful sport. | |
