Duke City Derby to have first home bout at the Albuquerque Convention Center

Duke Cities Munecas Muertas will be going head to head with the Denver Roller dolls
ALBUQUERQUE, NM Saturday May 15, 2010: Duke City Derby will be hosting its first home bout at the Albuquerque Convention Center. Doors open at 5pm and all ages are welcome. The All Star Munecas Muertas, DCD's travel team, has been skating up New Mexico since 2005 and will face WFTDA’s current 4th in the Nation the Denver Roller Dolls. To heat things up, be prepared to cheer on two of your favorite DCD home teams featuring players exclusively from NM(from Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Taos , Eagle’s Nest and Red River) who will be dueling it out on the track. You can buy $12 Tickets In advance at www.dukecityderby.com or purchase them for $15 at the door. Duke City Derby is currently New Mexico’s exclusive and only roller derby league and is working to start leagues across the state. Duke City Derby also supports charity events and will be raising funds to donate to various local charities at this event.
